Pension Dariana*** is located at the base of the Vladeasa Mountain in the village Scrind-Rachitele along the main road and lies about 55km from Cluj Napoca and 110 km from Oradea.

Our new comfortable pension opened its doors in December 2008.

We offers 9 comfortable double rooms, each with a private bathroom and we have an apartment as well.

There are on the first floor 2 rooms with double bed and 7 rooms with twin beds.  Each room has a terrace. On the main floor is an apartment. The apartment offers 2 rooms with double bed and one room with twin beds and a bathroom.

All the rooms have a TV.

Our restaurant offers place for 80 persons.

Outside is a terrace and in the back is a private garden where you can relax or where the children can play.

There is private parking and in the back of the pension is a small river and lots of forest.

The region: Scrind, is part of the comuna Margau and lies at the eastern base of the Vladeasa Mountain (1.848m high) This is the highest mountain of the Western Apuseni Mountains. The village lies along the Rachitele River. To the east is the 1.200m high Ruginoasa hill. The Rachitele rivers merges with the Calata river in the north and at about 5km from the pension is a small hydro lake. To the south, the village borders the Nature Park Apuseni. The park is known for it's spectacular limestone mountains and dozens of caves.  There are numerous forestry roads and hiking trails in all directions. Some of these hiking trails are marked, especially on the Vladeasa Mountain. In the neighboring village Rachitele is the famous wedding veil waterfall (35m high). Scrind lies at one of the main access road to the nature reserve Padis. Padis is well know for "Cetatile Ponor" a fantastic karst nature reserve consisting of  3 large dolines in which in one of them you find a 70m high cave portal. There is the 25km long lake Fintinele at about 10km from the pension, there is the fortress of Bologa at 16km.
